The CMRAO Board of Directors has retained an interim Executive Director and a small implementation team to work in partnership with the Ministry of Government and Consumer Services’ Policy, Planning and Oversight Division to plan and build the key functions and services of the organization. Some members of the team are shared with the CAO implementation team.
Robin Dafoe, Executive Director
Robin Dafoe was previously the Director of Corporate Policy and Tribunal Relations at the Ministry of the Attorney General, where she worked with administrative justice executives across three tribunal clusters to help achieve their modernization goals. Prior to that, she was the Implementation Director for the Ontario College of Trades, a new regulatory body for apprenticeship and trades certification in Ontario. She has extensive experience with independent bodies and governing boards including her work as Chief Administrative Officer/Director, Corporate and Public Affairs at the Education Quality and Accountability Office, Corporate Secretary to the first Board of Directors for Legal Aid Ontario, and Chief Administrative Officer/Director, Corporate Services at the Ontario Heritage Trust. Robin has a Bachelor of Arts in Law and Psychology from Carleton University, a Masters of Business Administration from Schulich School of Business, York University and a Master of Laws from Osgoode Hall, York University.
Nicoleta Hera, Executive Assistant and Human Resources Lead
Nicoleta Hera is the Executive Assistant and Lead of Human Resources for the CAO and CMRAO. She has worked closely with C-suite executives for the past five years and has experience with start-up organizations both as an executive assistant and as an office manager. She holds a graduate degree in Human Resources Management from McGill University in Montreal and has been involved in recruitment and HR management in various roles throughout her career.
Rana Khurram Manzoor, Financial Controller
Rana Khurram Manzoor has more than 10 years of experience in the field of financial reporting and management. Rana has a diversified experience of working in multinational private and public co-operations in different parts of world. He has an extensive working knowledge in service, trading and manufacturing sector. Rana is a designated Chartered Accountant of Canada and United Kingdom, and Chartered Management Accountant of USA. He has also obtained an Honours Bachelor of Sciences in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brooks University, in the United Kingdom.
Sandy Vizely, Policy and Programs Lead
Sandy is the lead for programs and policy at the CMRAO. His most recent work experience was with ServiceOntario as a Senior Business Consultant in the Registry Projects unit. Prior to that, he taught English as a Second Language internationally for three years. Sandy received his Bachelor of Arts from Wilfrid Laurier University and has completed the Ontario Post-Graduate Program in Public Administration from Humber College.
