Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Program
As announced in November 2022, the CMRAO’s mandatory Continuing Professional Education (CPE) program will be a requirement for the renewal of General Licences.
The program goes into effect on July 1, 2023, at which time General Licensees can start to accumulate credits towards the minimum requirement of 10 CPE credits necessary to renew their licence during the 2024 licence renewal period.
The CMRAO will publish a list of eligible CPE activities and associated credits on its website beginning in June. As we continue to review activity submissions, we have already received a mix of in-person and virtual events available to licensees across the province, including options that are available free of charge.
General Licensees will have a full year to accumulate the required 10 CPE credits. Additional information will be provided as it becomes available.
The CPE program supports the CMRAO’s mandate to strengthen the condominium management profession and help protect consumers in Ontario’s complex and rapidly growing condominium sector.
