Reminder to Complete and Report CPE Activities

Reminder to Complete and Report CPE Activities

As of July 1, 2023, the CMRAO’s mandatory Continuing Professional Education (CPE) program is a requirement for the renewal of General Licences. All General Licence holders are required to complete the requirements of the program annually to maintain their licence.

Our records indicate that you have not reported any CPE credits to the CMRAO. As a reminder, you must complete and report a minimum of 10 CPE credits to the CMRAO prior to completing your licence renewal application during the month of June. You cannot renew your licence if you do not meet the CPE requirements.

You are responsible for reporting your CPE credits to the CMRAO. CPE credits cannot be reported by your employer or education provider. CPE credits are reported through your user account on the CMRAO’s website. For detailed instructions on how to report your credits, please visit the CMRAO website.

To complete the program requirements on time and to find the activities that are right for you, be sure to regularly check our list of upcoming pre-approved CPE activities.

If you complete more than the minimum 10 CPE credits this year, you may carryover up to 10 credits to the following licensing year. Carryover credits must be reported no later than June 30.
