Reminder to Providers about Continuing Professional Education Requirements

Reminder to Providers about Continuing Professional Education Requirements

This reminder is being sent to all licensed condominium management provider businesses and their Principal Condominium Managers.

As of July 1, 2023, the CMRAO’s mandatory Continuing Professional Education (CPE) program is a requirement for the renewal of General Licences. General Licence holders are required to complete the requirements of the program annually to maintain their licence. Please ensure that your staff understands these important requirements. All licensees must renew their licence annually in June. General Licensees who do not meet the CPE requirements cannot renew their licence.

Each individual licence holder is responsible for reporting their own CPE credits to the CMRAO. CPE credits cannot be reported by the licensee’s employer or education provider. CPE credits are reported through the user account on the CMRAO’s website. For detailed instructions on how to report credits, please visit the CMRAO website. View our list of upcoming pre-approved CPE activities.

If a licensee completes more than the minimum 10 CPE credits this year, they may carryover up to 10 credits to the following licensing year. Carryover credits must be reported no later than June 30.
