Complaints Process
The CMRAO works in the public interest to build trust in condominium management services across Ontario. Handling complaints is an important part of public protection. Anyone with a concern related to the conduct of a licensed condominium manager or management provider business can submit a complaint through the online complaints portal.
It is important that condominium owners try to resolve matters of concern with their condominium manager, board and/or management provider business prior to filing a formal complaint with the CMRAO, which launches a legal process. Informal resolution of issues will help to ensure a solution-focused, communicative and respectful approach for condominium communities, which are shared living and workspace environments.
