In the interest of transparency and accountability, the CMRAO publishes and makes its governance and reporting documents available to the public.
Administrative Agreement
The CMRAO’s Administrative Agreement with the Ministry of Public and Business Service Delivery clarifies the roles, duties, and responsibilities of the minister and the CMRAO under the CMSA. The agreement also clarifies the administrative, financial, auditing, accountability, legislative and regulatory relationships between the two bodies.

By-law
To fulfil its mandate, the CMRAO is governed by a by-law which outlines the rules, structure, and duties of the roles within the organization, specifically the Board of Directors, Chair and Chief Executive Officer/Registrar.

Memorandum of Understanding
The Memorandum of Understanding establishes how the CMRAO and CAO work together to uphold and support their integrity, efficiency, and effectiveness. The Memorandum also serves to support the achievement of their respective consumer protection mandates and to protect personal and confidential information.

Directors' Code of Conduct and Policy on Conflict of Interest
The Directors' Code of Conduct and Policy on Conflict of Interest governs the conduct of directors and sets out guidelines for avoiding and disclosing conflicts of interest and keeping information confidential.
