Important Reminder for Transitional General Licensees

Important Reminder for Transitional General Licensees

If you have a Transitional General Licence, you have until June 30, 2021, to complete the educational requirements and obtain a General Licence.
In addition to all other requirements needed to obtain a General Licence, Transitional General Licensees must successfully complete the following four courses developed by the Association of Condominium Managers of Ontario (ACMO):

  1. Condominium Law
  2. Physical Building Management
  3. Financial Planning for Condominium Managers
  4. Condominium Administration and Human Relations

Applicants who, prior to November 1, 2017, had five or more years’ experience in providing condo management services, also have the option of taking any of the corresponding challenge exams in lieu of any individual course.
Transitional General Licensees are encouraged to visit ACMO’s website for detailed information on course availability. Do not wait until the last minute. Courses (in person and online) have limited class sizes and may fill up quickly.
