Navigating the CMRAO’s New Education Requirements

On November 1, 2021, the education and examination requirements necessary to qualify for a General Licence from the CMRAO has changed.

New entrants to the field of condominium management in Ontario must successfully complete all six new courses of the new education program, which were developed by the CMRAO with collaboration from the sector.

If you currently hold a Limited Licence, do you need to take the new courses? It depends. Your education pathway to a General Licence depends on the courses you have already started.

The CMRAO has developed a resource to help you navigate your education path as we move through the transitional period between the new and previous education requirements. This pathway will guide new entrants, as well as Transitional General Licensees, General Licensees, and Limited Licensees. See which pathway is right for you.
